New York - Summary the Second

So in the End I did stay longer in New York and I had the most amazing time ever. Right now I dont really know when I will head back home to London , but we will see what the next couple of days bring! Since I posted the last summary, so much stuff happened and I really try to make it short :)

Michael Epps:

Michael is a New York based photographer, specialiced in taking portraits in b/w ! I met him the other week for a shoot in his Manhattan Studio and it was great and totally easy to work with him. He already showed me some of the stuff and I really really like it ! I hope it was not the last time we worked together !

As soon as I know where and when the pictures are out, ill be able to put them out.

Elizabeth Perrin:

Elizabeth Perrin, a former Model in the 80s , is a New Yorker photographer , based in Williamsburg. We got invited to a Dinner Party the other night at her house, and thats where I met her the first time. She is such an amazing person that I was totally excited to work with her. We actually got together today morning with coffee in Williamsburg to shoot a really really good story. The best description would be - punk rock Ludvig meets Marie Antoinette - meets Elizabeth the first - meets Albert Einstein!! - meets David Bowie - meets Pete Burns ...

Marcel Dagenais did my hair today (i worked with him already before here in NY for the Omagiu Magazine Shoot) and he is a genius when it comes down to HAIR .. Marcel runs his own Magazine which I love , but Ill write an extra post about it the next time I am online !

I ended up showering in Baby Powder which was a fun , but hard to get rid off, experience. But I cant wait to see the final shots of today !I had a blast ! Thank you guys !

Lee Trimble Presentation:

After a hard shoot I had to run to the Lee Trimble Presentation, back in the heart of Manhattan , just opposite the Empire State Building. I met some models from my agency there, and I even met a girl from Austria which was amazing. The Presentation itself only took one hour, tho make up and hair took a while ! On top we all got really nice food and a massive GoodyBag. (we all love GBs ryt)!

When I got home finally I was dead tired, thats why i will just go to bed now and watch some television. Tomorrow I will find out about how long I am gonna stay, and when Ill be back home in London!

Rick Rocks

One of my most favorite designers in the whole wide Fashion Industry is for sure Rick Owens. He in person is one of the nicest people I have worked with so far and its just amazing to watch his shows. The choice of the music, of the location and of his models. Keeping it "classy" with a lot of edge is the perfect description for them .

New York - Summary the First

It has already been 2 weeks now that I am here in New York ! It has been an amazing time eventhough I ve been super busy almost every single day meeting people on Go Sees , "showing off" on Castings , and Shooting for Magazines and Photographers. This it just a short summary of what happend in the last two weeks . More to come :)

John Rich s Birthday Party:

We ended up one night going to John Richs Birthday Party. They had amazing drinks there ( and free for the first couple of hours :) ) amazing music and amazing people. Including the older lady that played in Dallas back in the 80s and the great Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe who playes the main role in the new film called "Precious" . If you havent heard of it go and check it out .

Omagiu Magazine Shoot (http://www.omagiu.com/):

Before we were shooting a 8 page Editorial for this Magazine I honestly havent heard of it before. We got to see the older Issue and Im telling you, I fell in love with it .

Shooting Location in Williamsburg:

The Crew :

Ryan Pfluger:

Ryan Pfluger is a young very talented photographer , based in New York , in the heart of Williamsburg. I met him two days ago on a Casting for an Editorial ! The characteristic of his pictures is how simple and strong they are at the same time. Have a look at our colaboration below and check out his website (http://www.ryanpfluger.com/)

EmpireStateBuilding:

I didnt manage to get up there the last time I was in New York ( which was 5 years ago ) so I said to myself .. no way im going home another time without having been on the Empire State Building :) Its amazing ...

Why ?

So after a long time thinking about it , and having people asked all the time , I decided to start a blog ! Due to my work as a Model I think it can be quite interesting to run a blog and to blog about what is going on in my life and in the Fashion Industry in general . The next couple of months Ill travel around between London (my home sweet home) , New York (my new home sweet home?) and Paris , and will blog about what is going on on Fashion Weeks in Paris London and New York , what is happening behind the "scenes" , people I get to meet etc etc ! So I think its going to be fun times :) and it will be interesting ... i promise !
